At Velociteach, we have a tradition where all the employees draw a name for a Secret Santa each Christmas. The only real rule is that you are not supposed to spend any more than $15 on the person whose name you draw. That keeps the playing field more or less level. This year, I was lucky enough to have my name drawn by Anna Reyes, who works on our creative team. She is a ridiculously talented artist and a very creative person (people swear that some of her sketches are photographs – she’s that good).
I was on the boat when the gifts were passed out, so my son, Kyle, opened mine for me. Anna had created this amazing, fanciful illustration for us for the boat. I hung it up in our starboard cabin (essentially our bedroom), but I am enjoying it so much, I had to share it with the world.

She did the sketch by hand and the painting in Photoshop. I cannot imagine being able to create something like this.
Isn’t it great?
i’m laughing- so good
